Welcome to Nakata Dojo. By enrolling in our programs, using our student portal, or submitting information through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Enrollment & Membership

Enrollment in Nakata Dojo programs is subject to availability. By submitting an enrollment inquiry or completing registration, you agree to:

2. Tuition & Payments

Tuition and fees are due as outlined in your membership agreement. Late payments may result in suspended access to classes. Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing per your membership agreement terms. Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.

3. SMS Communications

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Nakata Dojo. These messages may include class reminders, schedule changes, program updates, and customer care communications.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Student Portal & Account Security

Access to the Nakata Dojo student portal is granted to enrolled students and their guardians. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Martial arts training involves physical activity and inherent risks of injury. By enrolling or allowing a minor to enroll, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. Nakata Dojo, its instructors, and staff are not liable for injuries sustained during normal participation in classes, provided reasonable safety precautions are in place.

Students with medical conditions that may be affected by physical activity should consult a physician before participating and inform us of any relevant health concerns.

6. Photography & Media

Nakata Dojo may photograph or video record classes, events, and promotions for use in marketing materials, social media, and our website. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing and we will make reasonable accommodations.

7. Code of Conduct

All students, parents, and guardians are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect. Nakata Dojo reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for conduct that is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others, with or without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All curriculum materials, training content, and website content produced by Nakata Dojo are the property of Nakata Dojo and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued enrollment or use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students of material changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Polk County, Iowa.
